Position Overview
We are currently hiring for a Horticulturalist Team Member to assist in the care and maintenance of beautiful outdoor spaces within our Maintenance Division. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for plants, a strong work ethic, and a desire to learn and grow within the landscaping industry.
As a Horticulturalist Team Member, you will work alongside experienced team leads and managers to care for gardens, shrubs, trees, and other landscape elements, ensuring they remain healthy and vibrant throughout the season.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform daily horticultural maintenance tasks, including pruning, fertilizing, and pest/disease control.
  • Identify plants, weeds, and potential landscape issues while following instructions from team leads.
  • Assist with seasonal planting, mulching, and garden bed preparation.
  • Maintain tools and equipment for horticultural tasks.
  • Apply fertilizers and pesticides under supervision and in compliance with safety guidelines.
  • Contribute to the upkeep of residential and commercial landscapes, ensuring high standards are met.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects efficiently.

What We’re Looking For

  • 1–2 years of experience in horticulture, landscaping, or related fields (preferred but not required).
  • Basic knowledge of plant care and willingness to learn on the job.
  • A passion for working outdoors and maintaining beautiful landscapes.
  • Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and collaborate with a team.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with access to reliable transportation.
  • Ability to stand and work outdoors for extended periods in various weather conditions.
  • Willingness to work weekends if required (weather and schedule dependent).

Work Schedule

  • April to November (weather-dependent)
  • • Monday to Friday: 10–12 hours/day, with occasional Saturday shifts.
  • Winter work is available but not required.
  • Expected hours: 50–60 per week.
