Horticulture/Forestry Greenhouse Worker Seasonal

OPPORTUNITY

This seasonal opportunity provides the successful candidate experience in best practice sowing, transplanting, dormant cutting propagation, vegetative propagation production and some crop irrigation in a large greenhouse facility.
You will be working to assist our Growing team in producing over one million trees, shrubs, native herbaceous perennials and native grasses.

REQUIREMENTS

This position requires five shifts a week. At times during the production season (due to extreme weather) our start time will be moved up to two hours earlier to avoid working in the hottest part of the day.

• Our shifts at Tree Time Greenhouses are 8 hours long and many weekend shifts are rotated into the schedule to ensure we have consistent quality of crop care seven days a week.
• At times during the production season overtime will be required.

Tree Time Greenhouses is a fast pace Tree/Shrub/Native plant production facility that runs 7 days a week in the growing season.

• There is an expectation that our team works together at all times to produce our targets and full fill all orders.

We are looking for someone who gets the job done and does it right with a positive attitude and an adaptable nature. Our team has an excellent work ethic and we are looking for candidates who are motivated and believe in quality in all that they do.

• Successful candidate must satisfy Tree Time Greenhouse’s production time tracking requirements. These are daily production targets that each individual team member must fill while working at Tree Time Greenhouses.
