Description:
SUMMARY
Reporting to the Production Lead, the Horticulture Technician will care for cannabis plants in the vegetative and flowering stages. Complete all post-harvest processes including trimming, drying, curing, and packaging. Team player to develop process improvements, improve quality systems to cultivate high-quality cannabis.
Shift: Monday – Friday, potential weekend work. 7:00am until 4pm.
Job Type: FT, Permanent.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- 3 Years + Cannabis Cultivation Experience.
- Extensive Hand Watering Experience for Cannabis Indoor.
- Bachelor’s degree in plant science, horticulture, agriculture, or related field is preferred, but not required
- Strong desire to work in Cannabis Cultivation.
- Must be 18+ and able to pass our criminal background checks.

Responsibilities:
- Hand Water 700 Veg/Flower Plants Daily in Promix HP to Perfection.
- Lift 100 Lbs All day long
- High Stress / Low Stress Plant Training.
- Set up a flower room. 5 tables.
- Set up Proper Trellis
- Clones, vegetative, and flowering cannabis plant care.
- Pruning, defoliation, and toppings at different stages.
- Mix nutrient recipes, pest prevention remedies.
- Harvest, trimming, drying, curing, analytical equipment, packaging equipment, final inspection procedures.
- Ensure clean and sanitary conditions of grow rooms, equipment, and processing rooms
- Monthly staff training sessions.
- Ensure compliance with Health Canada CTLS regulations
- Adhere to set Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
- Requirement to wear company issued PPE including facemasks and respirators
- Support our workplace Health & Safety guidelines
