We are currently seeking part-time afternoon and night Hospital Aides to join our dedicated team at Nurse Maude Care Home. If you are passionate about providing quality care and are available for one of the rosters below, with the option to pick up extra hours occasionally, we’d love to hear from you!
Position Details:
- Hours: 20 to 30 hours per week
- Shifts Available:
- Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday: 1600-2000
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday: 2300-0700; Saturday, Sunday: 1600-2000
- Tuesday, Wednesday: 2300-0700; Friday, Saturday: 1600-2000
Requirements:
- Valid NZ Working Visa
- Availability to work one of the rosters listed above
- Flexibility to pick up additional hours when needed
What you will be doing:
- Provide excellent care to our residents
- Build therapeutic relationships with colleagues, residents, families/Whānau, and visitors
- Adhere to the organization’s policies and protocols to ensure safe delivery of care for all

To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Eligibility to work in NZ with a current Visa
- Reliable transport to and from work
- High energy, physical fitness, and enthusiasm
- Excellent written, verbal, and oral communication
- Previous experience as a hospital aide or similar
- Great people skills that demonstrate empathy
- Flexibility, ability to multitask, and excellent time management
