Description:
THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for a Hospital Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team based at the Forster Private Hospital in Forster, NSW. You will provide clinical pharmacy services to inpatients and assist in our dispensary ensuring that all pharmacy activities are completed to a high standard while supporting the quality use of medicines.
This is the perfect opportunity if you are looking for better work-life balance in your pharmacy career. We are offering a part-time position with flexible working days for the right candidate and do not require you to work on weekends.
Forster Private Hospital offers accommodation for 69 medical/surgical patients, 2 Operating Theatres, a Day Surgery Unit, Oncology Unit, Inpatient Rehabilitation, Day Therapy Programs and a Hydrotherapy Pool. Radiology and pathology services are available onsite.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct medication chart reviews and medication reconciliation
- Dispense and supply medication and pharmacy products
- Coordinate patient medication requirements for inpatient stay, day infusions and discharge
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service to clients and patients
- Support patients, carers, hospital staff and associated employees
- Educate and advise staff and customers on health promotion, disease prevention, drug selection and the proper use of medicines
- Review and completion of monthly reports
