Description:

ABOUT US

Animal Emergency Australia (AEA) is a network of independent emergency hospitals, general practices, veterinary support, and educational services across Australia. At our core, AEA exists to help veterinary professionals do and be their best. We invest in our team members’ work-life balance, career progression, and personal development, empowering them to excel in the field of veterinary medicine while making a meaningful impact on the lives of animals.

Responsibilities:

This is a brand-new role available at our AES Jindalee clinic of a hospital nurse/junior ECC nurse. This would be a great way to gain exposure to emergency nursing doing hospital shifts but you’d always have the support of core nurses on the floor with you.
We are open to this being an ongoing casual position or a fixed term part-time position ending Jan 2025 with possible extension if it’s the right fit for you and the clinic.
You will receive 2 weeks of on the floor training, including “buddy” shifts with your mentor and trainers. You will have total access to our monthly in-house CPD, an online database with training modules and webinars. Your development program also includes access to trained Mental Health First Aid Officers, our wellbeing hub and an Employee Assistance Program for support on a range of matters.
