Description:

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

We are looking for a Hospitality Professional to join our Housekeeping Team. As a Hospitality Professional, you will be a specialist in the Housekeeping department. You will also be a generalist in all entry-level front of house and back of house roles.
Our Housekeeping Team are responsible for the 24 hour cleanliness & upkeep of hotel common areas, restaurants, eforea spa & storage areas, replenishing amenities & manage guest requests and inventory, procurement, distribution and upkeep of hotel linens and uniforms worn by team members.

Specifically you will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Ensure that all allocated areas are cleaned and maintained promptly and efficiently up to the standards set by the Executive Housekeeper
  • Ensure that all areas are replenished as per the standards set, including but not limited to, the public & team member toilets, the hotel lobby, the Banquets floor and the restaurant outlets
  • Change and replenish bed linen, towels and guest amenities in line with company guidelines
  • Manage guest requests in a timely and efficient manner
  • Ensure a high level of communication is maintained with all other Housekeeping team members
  • Undertake regular deep cleaning tasks
  • Restock and maintain public area trolleys and housekeeping storerooms daily basis
  • Relocating linen across multiple locations using linen trolleys
  • Report any missing or damaged items to the Housekeeping Supervisor and own the responsibility to ensure that the items are replaced or repaired so to create an uninterrupted or impaired stay for the Guest
  • Ensure that all equipment inside and around Guest rooms as well as in work areas and used when performing housekeeping responsibilities is in working condition
  • Be environmentally aware and dispose of waste accordingly
  • Clean guest bedrooms and bathrooms
  • Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
  • Carry out lost property procedures
  • Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for a suitable candidate who can cover this position from July 2024 onwards. In your new role, you will be working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:
