What is the role?
As part of our Hospitality Sales team, your role will focus on driving new, upgraded and additional sales, playing an important role in our growth and success.
You’ll be expected to take a proactive approach, engaging with both prospective and existing clients over the phone, via email and face-to-face with a friendly, positive approach. Handling both inbound and outbound calls will be a key part of your responsibilities, as well as representing the club on home matchdays and at other events in the local community.
What will you be doing?
You’ll play a central role in responding to and converting inbound enquiries with a professional and timely approach, identifying opportunities to upsell and enhance revenue. A core part of your day-to-day will involve proactively reaching out to potential clients, building strong relationships and recognising sales and upsell opportunities to help maximise revenue.
As a hands-on contributor, you’ll assist with organising match day activities and help set up events to ensure seamless customer experiences. Continuously explore new methods of selling and develop a local network to access exclusive events and experiences for clients. You’ll efficiently manage customer information using our CRM system, ensuring data is accurate and up to date.
Collaboration within the team is essential, as well as staying self-motivated to achieve individual targets. A positive attitude and can-do mindset are vital, as you will represent the club on match days, ensuring customers feel welcomed and valued. You’ll be the face of hospitality for the club, engaging with clients in a way that makes their experience memorable, both on match days and at special club events, while working diligently to meet and exceed monthly KPIs and targets.
Is this you?
You have a strong interest in sales and enjoy working towards targets, ideally with experience in customer service or sales roles, and preferably within a proactive sales environment, such as a professional club or sporting venue.
Exceptional communication skills, both on the phone and face-to-face, and a proactive, self-motivated approach to meeting sales goals. You’re able to match client needs with the right products using a common-sense approach and skilled in time management.
Flexibility in hours will be required as the role will involve some weekend work.
