    Focused on ‘doing the right thing’ for our people and the planet, sustainability, wellbeing, diversity and inclusion are at the heart of what we do.What you’ll be doing:Reporting to the Hospitality Manager you will assist in overseeing daily hospitality operations, ensuring efficiency, high standards and impeccable customer service.You will be responsible for a small team of hospitality staff and a number of casual staff depending on the event.The CCD is the first state-owned, public access building. Designed by an award-winning Irish-born architect, the CCD quickly became a landmark building on Dublin’s skyline when it opened in 2010. Its stunning glass-fronted atrium gives visitors panoramic views of the River Liffey, Dublin city centre and the Wicklow mountains.The building offers 22 multi-functional rooms used for conferences, banquets, meetings and exhibitions. It was recognised as the first carbon neutral constructed convention centre in the world.
    More about the role:• Hands-on operational role which includes setup and execution of service• Lead set ups for events ensuring events are set to venue standards within agreed timelines• Supervise and develop the hospitality team• Work autonomously and demonstrate initiative• Management of small meeting rooms within the venue• Adhere to and assist with driving the Health & Safety and sustainability aspects of the venue
    Who you are:• Experience leading a team• Good knowledge of food & service delivery• Good knowledge of conference and banqueting• Excellent communication skills• Ability to work as part of a team and of own initiative
