REQUIREMENTS;

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding work environment
  • Must have flexible availability working a variety of weekday and week-end shifts from morning to evening including bank holidays

Responsibilities:

  • Welcome every guest(s) with a heartfelt gesture and provide an equally genuine farewell
  • Use in-house CRM to handle reservation details
  • Use CRM to add guest(s) to waitlist when the restaurant is at capacity
  • Use CRM to manage guest(s) expectations on the waitlist communicating time of arrival and seating/dining time
  • Confidently confirm the allergy/dietary needs of guest(s) and follow-up with updating CRM and communicating to section waiter/ FOH team
  • Prepare table setting for guest(s) depending on party size and needs
  • Use the CRM to confirm details of ‘special occasion’ booking and communicate to section waiter/ floating manager/ FOH team the details
  • Escort guest(s) to allocated table
  • Provide a pleasant, welcoming experience with a menu description at the table
  • Brief guests on QR ordering process
  • Identify ‘First-Time’ diners and follow SOP to ensure they have a great experience
  • Provide the correct number of menus based on party size
  • Retrieve menus from sections when not in use by guest(s)
  • Use walkie-talkie equipment to communicate with FOH team/ Managers
  • Deal with guest(s) complaints confidently escalating to managers when required Communicate guest(s) needs to colleagues/Managers working as part of the FOH team
  • Complete ad hoc tasks that protect brand image and serve to ensure maximum guest satisfaction
