Description:

Lilienblum is our modern Mediterranean family style sharing restaurant, which opened in May last year in Shoreditch. We are currently looking for a Hosts to join the Front of House crew.
The restaurant is open Tuesday - Friday for lunch and dinner and then Saturday dinner only. The restaurant is then available for private hire on Sundays and Mondays.

Your key responsibilities will be to oversee the restaurant guest’s journey from pre-arrival to post-visit, answer any guest enquiries and strive to go the extra mile to ensure every guest receives genuine and personalised service

Responsibilities:

  • Creating a warm, welcoming and lasting impression for our guests
  • Striving to build genuine relationships with all guests that dine with us
  • Providing genuine, attentive, natural and friendly service to our guests in order to reflect our values and standards
  • Answering phone calls, taking reservations and answering questions or queries guests may have and ensure all follow up is carried out promptly
  • Thorough knowledge of SevenRooms and any other systems required to carry out the Restaurant Host role
  • Ensuring all customer information is captured and recorded on their SevenRoom profiles
  • Being aware of all VIP’s and their guests who are visiting us, and ensure their experience is tailored appropriately and inform restaurant management of their arrival
  • Anticipating guests’ needs and provide them with a personalised experience
  • Ensuring the host area is tidy, presentable and fully stocked with all necessary stationery and materials
  • Great communication skills and the ability to adapt to different situations
  • Confident in delivering exceptional customer service
  • Commitment to work with a great team both front and back of house
  • You will have a passion and interest in the hospitality industry
