Description:

JOB OVERVIEW

The Marriott Savannah Riverfront is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual with a background in Hotel accounting and HR experience to join our team. This role is essential in supporting the Front Desk staff and HR functions and ensuring the smooth operation of each processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HOTEL accounting principles and experience with accounting software, which will aid in managing HR-related financial tasks.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in Hotel accounting or in a similar administrative role is preferred
  • Working knowledge of PAYCOR payroll system is preferred
  • Proficiency in Hotel accounting software such as PMS and MARSHA
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and EXCEL
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in financial documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with team members and external partners
  • At least 2+ years experience in HOTEL accounting and/or an HR role

Responsibilities:

  • Process all Accounts Receivables via Front Desk / check / credit card payment / third party billing
  • Work closely with the Front Desk trouble-shooting and resolving all billing related issues
  • Create Daily Financial packets to send to corporate
  • Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings
  • Maintain employee records and ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date
  • Support onboarding processes for new hires, including preparation of necessary paperwork and orientation materials
  • Provide clerical support including filing, data entry, and maintaining HR databases
  • Working knowledge of handling W/C claims, and HR Benefits packages
  • Process Bi-weekly payroll using PAYCOR payroll system
