Description:
Responsibilities:
- To answer all phone calls in a polite and timely manner and to assist all callers.
- To promote a positive working atmosphere at all times.
- Checking of daily invoices list, ensuring invoices are sent out and postings to debtor’s ledger are completed.
- Liaise and co-operate with all relevant departments.
- To have a full and comprehensive understanding of the Accounts systems.
- To be responsible for entering all new employees and their details as received from the relevant HOD’s onto the hotel system.
- To liaise with the front office team in compiling and chasing outstanding customers accounts and sales ledgers.
- To deal efficiently on a daily basis with all aspects of accounts work as directed to include accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash, payroll and any other ad hoc duties.
- To be fully familiar with all cashing procedures.
- Production of daily sales reports.
- To deal with suppliers and fellow staff members requests in a timely and professional manner.
- To be responsible for all calls, both internal and external in a professional and efficient manner.
