Job Description
Our team is looking for a General Manager who will be responsible for all aspects of hotel operations and management, from overseeing the day-to-day activities and staff to ensuring our guests have the most enjoyable stay and upholding the hotel/brand standards. The GM is an ambassador for the hotel and the brand will be responsible to ensure optimal sales levels and reputation.

You will bring

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Hospitality or Hotel Management or equivalent education and experience
• 5 years of prior hospitality industry experience
• 2+ years of prior management experience
• Must speak fluent English
• Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills to support the building of strong relationships with diverse groups of people
• In-depth understanding of hotel operations
• The ability to use distribution channels and technology platforms to drive revenue and maximize market share
• Lead capital plans and asset management initiatives, including working with owners to maintain or improve property’s market leadership position

Position is available in Kamloops, and requires in-person presence. Compensation is commensurate with skills and experience.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $65,000.00 per year

• Kamloops, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
