Overview:

JOB SUMMARY:

The Hotel Manager at Black Desert Resort is responsible for supporting the Front Office Manager by overseeing daily hotel operations, focusing on delivering exceptional guest experience. This role involves managing the Front Office and Guest Services teams while collaborating closely with department heads, including Housekeeping and Maintenance, to ensure high service standards are upheld throughout the resort. The Hotel Manager ensures smooth daily operations and helps drive profitability while maintaining the resort’s luxurious environment.

    Compensation Range: The compensation for this position is $56,000.00/Yr. - $62,000.00/Yr. based on qualifications and experience

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Front Office Manager in supervising Front Office and Guest Services operations, ensuring that all guest interactions meet resort standards.
  • Uphold and enhance the resort’s service standards by ensuring all guests receive exceptional hospitality and prompt attention to their needs.
  • Assist with resolving guest issues, concerns, and complaints in a timely, professional manner to ensure guest satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Oversee room assignments, guest requests, reservations, and ensure accurate check-in/check-out procedures in collaboration with the Front Office team.
  • Assist in training, mentoring, and evaluating Front Office and Guest Services staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping and Maintenance departments to ensure seamless guest experiences, without direct managerial responsibility for those teams.
  • Monitor operational procedures and ensure compliance with all resort policies, including health and safety regulations.
  • Work with the Front Office Manager to manage financial aspects of hotel operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control, while maximizing revenue opportunities.
  • Collaborate with other resort departments such as Sales, Marketing, and Food & Beverage to optimize guest experiences and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure the hotel maintains a clean, organized, and welcoming environment that reflects the resort’s high standards of luxury and service.
  • Assist in the scheduling and management of staffing levels for the Front Office and Guest Services teams, ensuring adequate coverage during peak and off-peak periods.
  • Participate in hotel leadership meetings, contributing to strategies that enhance guest satisfaction and operational performance.
  • Stay current with industry trends and participate in ongoing professional development.
