OVERVIEW
Montcalm Collection are looking for a skilled and reliable Hotel Receptionist to join our team at Inhabit Queens Gardens. Help to shape the Montcalm Collection’s next chapter and showcase your skills. Become a trusted ambassador for one of our hotels and take advantage of the opportunity to move between properties, achieving the service and product delivery standards for the department with a high degree of customer care and service.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience in front office operations or guest services preferred.
- Experience working in Front Office hotels preferable
- Knowledge of Opera (Desirable)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Customer service skills
- The ability to work well with others
- Strong attention to detail
- Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome every guest as first point of contact in a professional and responsible manner.
- all guests are welcomed and checked into the computer system, ensuring correct accommodation is allocated to the guests.
- Ensure guests departing from the hotel are checked out and feedback is acted upon in a correct way.
- To liaise effectively between departments and management regarding VIP arrivals, groups and functions using the necessary procedures. Supervision of group arrivals, checking rates, routing and updating when necessary.
- Ensure general filing, correspondence and record keeping is undertaken whilst on shift where necessary, monitoring scanning and updating guest profiles.
- Assists General Guest’s enquiries face to face and on the telephone, transfer incoming calls as and when required.
- Be responsible for all aspects of front office operations ensuring that correct procedures are followed in guideline to the company S.O.P’s and delivering a complete and accurate handover of daily events from one shift to the next
