Description:
The fabulous Brooklands Hotel has been opened since 2010 and is a modern sleek style Art Deco inspired building with bedrooms and conference suites offering state of the art facilities located on the site of the historic Brooklands race track.
We are now looking for a well presented, enthusiastic part time Weekend Receptionist to join our Hotel & Spa Reception departments . You should have experience in the hotel hospitality industry or similar to be considered for this position. This role involves shift work, early and late shifts working at weekends, combination of Friday late shift and Saturday and Sunday. Be ready to show your skills, learn from us all and deliver an impeccable service, yet in a friendly atmosphere.
REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
- To have some experience in working in the hospitality industry preferred. This role involves shift work including working at the weekend.
- To be committed to being part of a driven team that is aiming to achieve quality and high standards throughout the hotel.
- To have a passion for making a difference in our guests stay while displaying excellence in personal grooming and presentation.
- To demonstrate an excellent attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- To be on duty on time and always be presented in a clean and smart manner, ensuring uniform is smartly dressed and shoes are polished.
- To maintain the standards of Brooklands.
- To comply all assigned duties according to the Company policy and in line with the Company standards and procedures.
- To welcome hotel guests and spa guests in a cheerful and courteous manner and to the standard expected along with using the guests name at all times.
- Participate in full training of PMS, spa system and Restaurant booking system
- To comply with all security measures to ensure the protection of guests and company property.
- Be proficient in taking hotel bookings, spa bookings and F&B reservations.
- Ensure that all guest bills are accurate with all charges accounted for and handling of daily banking.
- Complete all daily tasks (Am, Mid and PM procedures) to the standards set in SOP
- Be aware of guest comments or complaints and deal with accordingly.
- To have a full knowledge of and be able to act upon the Fire procedures as laid down in the Hotel Fire Procedure in compliance with the Fire Precautions Act 1971 and to attend Fire Training as requested.
- To be fully aware of the required standards of Health and Safety in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and company procedures and to attend Health & Safety Training as requested.
