About the Business/Function
Our Destination Management services form the core of our business. We take care of everything from ground support, hotel bookings, sightseeing, restaurants, and local guides; all while providing 24/7 customer support so that travelers from over 50 countries can enjoy memorable travel experiences worry free.
Main tasks and responsibilities

To process and confirm all hotel bookings efficiently and accurately, paying attention to any special requirements of the clients.
- Negotiation with both contracted and non-contracted suppliers to maximize profit and reduce over budget (optimization)
- Support steering of volume into preferred contracted hotels to utilize allotments and grow volume
- Identify possible problematic situations, such as lack of room capacity, difficult periods due to events in given destination and initiate corrective actions with the Reservation team and respective managers
- Resolve cases related to missing reservations, overbooking situations, negotiating cancellation charges etc.
- Keep contact to key suppliers and stakeholders, maintain relationships and provide feedback and suggestions as necessary
- Close cooperation with Procurement managers, feedback on cooperation with partners, suggestions on new products to extend the portfolio in given destination
- Comply with company standards and use all in-house IT tools effectively
- Undertake project work as required by management
To succeed in this role, you should have

Good written and verbal English skills are essential
- Computer literature – experience in working with Microsoft packages
- Experience in hotel industry or travel agency advantageous
- Good negotiation skills
- Proven ability to build strong customer and supplier relationship
