Spire Parkway Hospital, Solihull has an exciting opportunity for a Hotel Services Manager to lead, drive, develop and manage a dynamic, passionate, hard-working team to deliver a customer focused, five-star experience to all Patients, Consultants and Colleagues at the hospital

Contract Type: Permanent, 37.5 hours per week
As Hotel Services Manager you will play an active role within the hospital management team, attending key meetings, contributing to the delivery of the Hospital strategy within the non-clinical team, controlling budget (including staff costs) and ensuing all policies and protocols are followed.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all legislative regulations regarding food hygiene, licensing, health & safety, risk management is complied with.
  • To manage the Hospitality services team with line reports of the Housekeeping, catering and Hostess team
  • To plan and organise Catering for the hospital on a day-to-day basis.
  • To ensure cleaning standards are delivered and maintained to the highest level.
  • To ensure effective day to day control of all staffing rosters and pay expenditures
  • To ensure equipment is maintained and available to deliver services.
  • To lead on the Hospital quality assurance framework.
  • Responsible for Food Safety Standards within the hospital
  • To comply with the standard financial instructions and audit recommendations of the company, including overseeing daily, weekly and monthly audits
  • To ensure all complaints are dealt with efficiently and effectively
  • To ensure a high level of service is provided to patients, staff, consultants and visitors in all areasWork with third party suppliers and contractors to ensure support to the service
