Description:
JOB OVERVIEW:
The Hotel Supervisor plays a key role in ensuring the smooth daily operations of the hotel. This role involves overseeing staff, maintaining high guest satisfaction, and ensuring that hotel services run efficiently and in accordance with company standards. The supervisor is responsible for maintaining excellent customer service, addressing guest concerns, and supporting the team in providing an exceptional guest experience.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
- Proven experience in hotel supervision or management (2-3 years UAE Experience preferred).
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and make quick decisions.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
EDUCATION:
Diploma or degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and other hotel departments.
- Assist in scheduling and ensuring adequate staffing levels.
- Train, mentor, and motivate team members to provide exceptional service.
- Monitor staff performance and provide feedback, coaching, or disciplinary action as needed.
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Ensure that all guests have a pleasant and memorable experience.
- Respond to guest feedback (online or in person) to maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Ensure that all hotel areas, including guest rooms and public spaces, are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
- Work closely with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address any issues.
- Assist in the management of hotel inventory, supplies, and purchasing.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and hotel policies.
- Assist in managing departmental budgets and controlling operational costs.
- Oversee cash handling, transactions, and ensuring accurate billing procedures.
- Support the hotel manager in achieving financial targets and maintaining profitability.
- Prepare daily reports on hotel performance, occupancy rates, and revenue.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies and local regulations.
- Handle employee scheduling, timekeeping, and other administrative duties as assigned.
- Coordinate with other department heads (kitchen, maintenance, etc.) to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Attend regular management meetings to discuss operational challenges and solutions.
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and employee engagement.
