Description:
The candidate will be responsible for the procurement, negotiation, and purchase processes of hotel supplies (OS&E) for the Mercan Group hotels, in close coordination with the hotel units and hotel managers. The candidate will also manage supplier relationships and ensure that the contracted services and products meet the required standards of quality, sustainability, and safety.
The candidate will also be an integral part of a logistics and stock management transformation project within the Mercan Group.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in Management, Economics, Logistics, Engineering, or related fields;
- Proven professional experience in Procurement, preferably in the hospitality sector;
- Knowledge of inventory management and logistics systems;
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills;
- Strong analytical ability and attention to detail;
- Critical capacity to transform and optimize processes;
- Experience with ERP systems and inventory management tools;
- Ability to work in a team and adapt to dynamic environments.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate suppliers of hotel materials and related services;
- Negotiate contract terms and prices with suppliers, focusing on cost efficiency and quality;
- Ensure supplier compliance with quality and sustainability standards;
- Collaborate with hotel management teams to ensure that material needs identified are met efficiently;
- Be an active and integral part of the Mercan Group’s logistics transformation and stock optimization project;
