Description:
Townhouse on the Green has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Receptionist.
The role involves:
- Providing an outstanding guest experience by exceeding guest expectations.
- Carrying out all tasks in accordance with procedures as outlined in the Front Office Standards Manual.
- Ensuring all tasks and checklists are actioned and completed during shift.
- Having comprehensive knowledge and actively promoting the surrounding area of Dublin.
- Maximising all available sales opportunities by actively upselling the hotel and restaurant facilities and rates.
- Ensuring that all aspects of security and cash handling are followed at all times in accordance with the company Policy.
- Having the highest standards of presentation and cleanliness at the Front Desk.
The ideal candidate must have:
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Previous experience of Opera and/or OpenTable reservations systems is preferred
- Exceptional selling skills both upselling and cross selling
- Attention to detail
- Strong customer focus skills
- Positive attitude to work
- Enjoys a sense of empowerment and a want to improve
- The ability to work shifts and weekends
