Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking to recruit an Hourly Paid Lecturer in Fashion Design who is available to work during the academic year and will be available to work at short notice. As a leading provider of Fashion Education, our current courses in Fashion Design at BA and MA level attract both UK and International students. We are interested in hearing from potential candidates who can inspire the next generation of fashion designers with their expertise and knowledge of creative pattern cutting and digital software relating to fashion design/product development - specifically CLO-3D and Lectra.
You will work under the direction of the Principal Lecturers who manage the Fashion Design courses and you will contribute to delivering high-quality teaching and learning to undergraduate/postgraduate students starting in October/November 2024.
You will be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and communicate ideas of a complex design or technical nature to students effectively using a variety of teaching methods. You will have a detailed knowledge of techniques and equipment through industry, professional, and/or higher education experience in Fashion.
