Description:

Melba Support Services are actively recruiting for a House Supervisor to join our team on a Permanent Full Time basis in Sale.
As part of our Outcomes team in Gippsland, you will lead the team delivering services in one of our residential homes in Sale. You will work alongside people we support, their families/guardians and staff to ensure that the people we support receive the highest level of care.
You will work with an incredibly supportive, knowledgeable, and committed Operations Manager who is there to support you. Our Respite service in Sale provides support to adults in a four-bedroom, sleepover model.. All people we support have their own bedroom when they are in for respite.
The bookings are completed as per the family’s requests.
Most of the supported people attend either the local day program or have external supports who pick them up and take them out for the day.
Alternatively, some supported people who do not have access to a day service or have outside supports every day are supported by Melba staff with whatever activity they choose.
When in respite the people we support join in numerous activities out the wider community – beach walks, nature walks, picnics, BBQ’s, meals at the various cafes and restaurants, going to the cinema, watching TV/DVD’s/Netflix, art and craft, card and board games and local events in the community – whatever they would like to do.
Several people receiving respite have Behaviour Support Plans and/or Specific Health Plans and all people who access this service have different levels of support needs.
