Ballymote Community Nursing Unit is registered to accommodate 32 male or female residents who require long-term residential care or who require short-term respite, convalescence or palliative care.
The nursing home is located in a residential area a short walk from the town of Ballymote. The building is single-storey and is decorated in a home-like way. The home has safe garden areas that are currently located and cultivated with raised beds and shrubs to make them interesting to residents.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Title: Housekeeper
Reporting to: Director of Nursing
Purpose of the job: To maintain a clean, tidy and hygienic environment at all times. Mindful that it is the residents’ home; thereby respecting the individual’s right to privacy, dignity and independence. All tasks are to be carried out in a courteous, friendly and efficient manner.

WEEKLY CLEANING ROTAS ARE AVAILABLE IN EACH UNIT TO BE FILLED IN AND SIGNED.

This job description outlines the main functions and responsibilities of the post and is subject to review and amendment according to business needs within Nazareth House.

Pay: From €13.50 per hour
