Housekeeper
Location: Tees Valley Hospital, Middlesborough
Hours: 20 hours per week
Various shift patterns to include (6am-11am/4pm-9pm)
Includes every Saturday & Sundays (1 in 8)
Salary: Depending on experience + Benefits
Summary:
Tees Valley Hospital in Middlesbrough is part of Ramsay Health Care’s UK network of private hospital services. Tees Valley Hospital is situated in Acklam close to Middlesbrough town centre. It offers services to private and NHS patients for the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of surgical conditions.
The role
We currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Housekeeper to join our team at the Tees Valley Hospital, based in Middlesborough.
As the Housekeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness are maintained across the respective department, whilst supporting the wider team members across various departments.
Providing a range of housekeeping duties that will include:
Maintaining the required standards of cleanliness by following correct policies, procedures and frequencies. Undertaking a variety of cleaning duties in line with the ward/area/location cleaning schedules (may include operating specialist cleaning equipment). Carrying out specialist cleaning and one off cleaning duties in line with the Supervisors requirements. Ensuring that there is a general, pleasant and well maintained environment for patients & visitors.
This is a challenging but rewarding role and would be ideally suited to a motivated team player. Previous experience in a Housekeeping role is essential and knowledge of COSHH and infection control is also desirable, however training will be provided.
