ABOUT US

Part of London + Regional Hotels, The Lensbury Resort is located on the Banks of the River Thames at Teddington and is home to an exclusive leisure club, a 155 bedroom hotel, meeting and events space, restaurant and bar, Spa and 25 acres of gardens and grounds.

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

  • Ensure the ground floor corridors, toilets and public areas are kept clean and tidy
  • Assist with cleaning of Lockside changing rooms
  • Ensure all toilets in clubhouse and conference centre are properly stocked up throughout the day and just before the end of each shift
  • Assist with the cleaning of other external buildings to include boathouse toilets, sailing changing room, golf pavilion and old wine bar area and toilets
  • Other daily duties as set out in Housekeeping Office.
  • Returning any lost property to Housekeeping Office suitably marked.
  • Cover for the Leisure Club Cleaner in his/her absence
  • Carry out the specific duties required on Saturdays and Sundays, to include the Squash block, Tennis Roadside, and the Riverside changing rooms, and further areas as required.
  • Enforce Lensbury Health Safety requirements as detailed in the Employment Manual, department operating procedures or risk assessments.
  • Work with colleagues to reduce energy costs and follow all environmental policies,

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications, attitude, behaviours, skills, and values:

  • Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques, cleaning agents, and equipment.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  • Maintain a professional attitude at all times.
  • Excellent time-management skills to ensure efficient completion of tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with guests and colleagues.

  • Availability to work weekends, and public holidays, with schedule flexibility
