We are looking for candidates with the following:
- Previous housekeeping experience
- Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation procedures
- Good knowledg of COSHH
- Ability to work independently while following set procedures and schedules
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to interact effectively with staff across departments
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift objects for extended periods
- Eligibility to work in the UK (we are unable to provide visa sponsorship)

ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Housekeeping Assistant at King Edward VII’s Hospital, you will play a vital part in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, helping us deliver a safe and comfortable environment for patients, staff, and visitors. We are looking for hardworking and detail-oriented individuals who are committed to upholding excellence in hygiene and infection control.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in patient rooms, common areas, and offices, following strict protocols and procedures
- Change linens, towels, and bedding items as needed
- Safely dispose of waste materials, ensuring bins are regularly emptied
- Replenish room and area supplies such as soap, tissues, and other amenities
- Report maintenance issues and any safety concerns promptly
- Adhere to infection control policies to prevent the spread of infections
- Respond to additional cleaning requests from patients or staff in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the highest standard of care for our patients
