Overview:
Peak Cellars is located on a 7-acre property in Lake Country, and is home to our Goldie Road Vineyard. Wine isn’t the only thing the property produces; the half-acre organic vegetable garden and two greenhouses supply the highest quality fruits and vegetables for the Garden Bistro. We are looking for part-time Housekeeping Attendants to join our incredible team of wine and food lovers.
Role type: Seasonal, part-time (less than 30 hours per week)
Reports into: Housekeeping Supervisor, Manager, Event Operations and Accommodations

Responsibilities:

The main responsibilities of the Housekeeping Attendant include:

  • Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting and polishing all furniture and fixtures in all facilities.
  • Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected to facility standards.
  • Cleaning, scrubbing and sanitizing of toilets, showers, bathtubs, countertops and sinks.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen area including all appliances and sinks.
  • Perform general sweeping, scrubbing, mopping and vacuuming of floors.
  • Clean windows, glass surfaces, mirrors and counters as needed.
  • Dust and polish furniture and room accessories as needed.
  • Maintain stock levels of linens and towels in all guest homes.
  • Sorting, washing, loading and unloading laundry for guest homes.
  • Ironing and steaming of appropriate laundry items for guest homes.
  • Keeping all bathrooms stocked with appropriate supplies.
  • Tidying up rooms as needed.
  • Monitoring cleaning supplies and advise when new orders are required.
  • Reporting any necessary repairs or replacements.
  • Emptying trash and recycling receptacles.
