Overview:
Peak Cellars is located on a 7-acre property in Lake Country, and is home to our Goldie Road Vineyard. Wine isn’t the only thing the property produces; the half-acre organic vegetable garden and two greenhouses supply the highest quality fruits and vegetables for the Garden Bistro. We are looking for part-time Housekeeping Attendants to join our incredible team of wine and food lovers.
Role type: Seasonal, part-time (less than 30 hours per week)
Reports into: Housekeeping Supervisor, Manager, Event Operations and Accommodations
Responsibilities:
The main responsibilities of the Housekeeping Attendant include:
- Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting and polishing all furniture and fixtures in all facilities.
- Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected to facility standards.
- Cleaning, scrubbing and sanitizing of toilets, showers, bathtubs, countertops and sinks.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen area including all appliances and sinks.
- Perform general sweeping, scrubbing, mopping and vacuuming of floors.
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, mirrors and counters as needed.
- Dust and polish furniture and room accessories as needed.
- Maintain stock levels of linens and towels in all guest homes.
- Sorting, washing, loading and unloading laundry for guest homes.
- Ironing and steaming of appropriate laundry items for guest homes.
- Keeping all bathrooms stocked with appropriate supplies.
- Tidying up rooms as needed.
- Monitoring cleaning supplies and advise when new orders are required.
- Reporting any necessary repairs or replacements.
- Emptying trash and recycling receptacles.
