Description:
Responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITIES
Work day Saturday to Thurs, 2days off, will need to be flexible and change based on business levels
Systems need to operate, GXP, Lightspeed, Marriot Global Sources, excel, basic computer templates, ileftmystuff, IVR Receive and record all lost articles found in the hotel
Ensures the cleanliness and maintenance of Hotel facilities, including guestrooms and all public areas, in accordance with health and safety standards
To answer the telephone as per hotel standards Record every telephone call in a log book/database noting the action taken, who is responsible and whom the call was received by
Take key inventory to ensure all section keys/master keys are accounted for Run an in-house guest list, rollaway/crib report, check-out list, from the Property Management System & Verify room status
Responsible for overseeing the effective operation of the Uniform Room alter and repair employee uniforms Maintain employee records regarding number of uniforms issued, size, repairs completed
Produce daily reports of house count and distribute to housekeeping staff, build Room
attendant boards Maintain and control supply and linen inventories,
Maintain all Housekeeping forms Stock Room Attendants caddies (if applicable)
Maintain cleanliness of main linen room and offices Log all Lost and Found items in the logbook and secure items in the storage closet
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Must be able to work any day of the week, AM or PM shifts
- Prepare “Opening the House” duties, run LMS Housekeeping Section Report and assign work assignment to Housekeepers according to their sections
- Responsible for supporting the Housekeeping department for administrative duties
- Checks the key cabinet at the end of each shift to make sure that all keys allocated to housekeeping recounted for, mobile phones
- To ensure that the notice board is updated correctly at all times
- To coordinate with the Team Leaders and ensure that the current room statuses are updated in the system at all times
- Registers lost and found in the register, hand over and follow-up with the security department
- To report any unusual incidents, complaints, unauthorized persons in rooms and any sick or irregular behavior of guests or colleagues to the Housekeeping senior on duty
- To update and maintained the daily mobile phone tracking sheet accurately
- Ensure equipment’s in Housekeeping Office, including photocopier is working at all times with adequate supplies of paper, toner, and call maintenance engineers when requiredQUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds individually and up to 100 pounds in a 2 person lift.
- Minimum 6 months housekeeping/janitorial experience.
- Energetic, highly motivated.
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
