JOB DESCRIPTION

• Accountable and responsible for maintaining a culture focused on having Safety as a value
• Foresee and report any issues affecting the housekeeping operation to the Operations Manager.
• Perform Orientations and Welcome tour with new hires
• Ensure all housekeeping staff are trained on cleaning protocols, including room cleaning, dorm cleaning and all necessary tasks required to maintain standards.
• Teach chemical use, and equipment operation.
• Ensure all standards are being met by working in close relationship with each staff member.
• Perform room and dorm inspections
• Report deficiencies in MMOBI
• Adhere to Aramark policies and procedures while training SOP and SWI.
• Update information in associate logs and training matrix.
• Create a supportive and positive working environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Housekeeping leadership and training experience required
• Attention to detail; ability to use a computer and maintain training records
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, senior management, and Aramark support staff
• Ability to respond effectively to changing demand
  This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Lighthouse Camp Catering, a division of Aramark Remote Workplace Services are hiring for a Housekeeping Trainer for a remote lodge near Fort McMurray, AB. This position is responsible to ensure consistent training of housekeepers who are responsible for the overall cleanliness of our facilities to the highest-level of cleaning. The successful candidate must be able to go up and down stairs and walk in excess of 20 000+ steps per day. Successful candidates will have professional residential and commercial cleaning experience.
