Description:
Fixed Term - 2 Years
We’re recruiting for a unique new joint role shared between adult social care and housing. This role is part of the new Housing Partnerships Team and works closely with both Health and Adult Services and Housing and Safer Communities.
Royal Borough of Greenwich aims to collaborate with residents to live the best lives they can, by working together to support independence. You’ll support both directorates to deliver new extra care and step-up/step down housing, to meet the changing needs of our residents and support health, wellbeing and independence. We’re looking for someone who can build relationships, coordinate work across teams, and conduct top-quality research and analysis to guide our decision making.
The postholder will need a strong understanding of both social care and housing, but we know that not everyone will have this at the start. If you have a good working knowledge of one of these areas, we can help you learn about the other. It’s essential that you’re committed to offering our older residents genuine choice and control over their housing and care.
