Bexley is an outer London Borough with the best of both worlds, located between the hustle and bustle of London and the Garden of England, Kent. Within the borough we have award winning parks, open spaces and listed heritage sites.
The Housing Grants team is responsible for the administration of Disabled Facilities Grants, and the delivery of equipment and minor disabled adaptations within the homes of eligible Bexley residents. You will be joining a team focused on making real, life changing improvements in the lives of some of Bexleys most vulnerable residents.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
You will have experience in using document management systems, as well as the Microsoft office suite of programs.
You will have experience in self-managing a multi case/task workload.
You will have an understanding of disabled adaptations and how they can positively impact a client within their home.
You will be willing to undertake further training as required to grow within the role.

Responsibilities:
As the Housing Grants Officer, you will primarily be responsible for the day to day running of Bexley’s minor adaptations program, as well as providing support for the Grants Team as required to help with the delivery of major adaptations.
