Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Housing Litigation Manager, providing professional, accurate and high quality legal advice on housing matters across whg
  • Support wider teams with tenancy breaches, anti-social behaviour, without notice injunction
  • Work closely with Insurance and Claim Team taking instructions on housing disrepair and statutory nuisance claims which involve court proceedings
  • Prepare high quality documentation relating to claims, pleadings, witness statements and correspondence
  • Attend and represent whg at court proceedings as required
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge and understanding of court procedures, Civil Procedures Rules, Pre-action Protocols and relevant case law
  • Ensure strong working relationships across other teams within whg and external stakeholders
