Job Summary
The HP Digital Merchandising Specialist is responsible for executing the vision of the Digital Merchandising team while supporting HP Inc. to drive an exceptional customer experience on CDW’s websites. This individual will be responsible for working across Digital teams and establishing close working relationships across Product & Partner Management and Marketing departments. This role will be responsible for managing HP’s digital product assortment across CDW’s websites. In addition to identifying & implementing optimization opportunities that will drive revenue growth for both CDW & HP Inc. As part of the Digital team, the HP Digital Merchandising Specialist will be instrumental in helping to grow a cutting-edge Digital Merchandising function. This role will empower both internal and external stakeholders to provide outstanding service to CDW customers, ensuring an exceptional online customer experience.
What you will do:
- Execute the strategy for the Digital merchandising strategy that aligns overall departmental goals
- Optimize CDW’s digital KPIs through effective merchandising and product strategies, utilizing tools such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, or similar reporting software
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of HP’s product assortment and consumer insights to drive online performance
- Provide reporting & insights on HP’s digital performance for both internal and external stakeholders
- Responsible for optimizing HP’s digital product information and product presentation
- Manage HP’s on-site search, browse and navigation experiences for increased product findability
- Collaborate with Marketing, Partner Management, and HP Brand teams to ensure consistent brand messaging and strategy across online and offline channels
- Provide consultation to stakeholders in areas to increase online HP revenue
- Manage algorithm strategies for CDW’s product recommendation engine and maximize cross sell opportunities throughout the websites
- Coordinate cross-functional needs and foster collaboration among various departments
What we expect of you:
- Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of Digital Merchandising or eCommerce related experience, OR;
- 7 years of Digital Merchandising or eCommerce related experience
- Experience working with product information management (PIM) systems such as Informatica P360, Salsify, or similar PIM systems
- Management of HP on-site search keywords and business rules in internal search engines such as Fusion, or Elastic
- Experience with creating and analyzing reports using website analytic tools such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Quantum Metrics or similar reporting software
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all stakeholders, including senior leadership
- Proven track record of successfully meeting deadlines, balancing priorities and using creative problem-solving skills
- History of successful project management
- Strong customer service skills and proficiencies
- Strong collaboration skills, with a history of building solid relationships with stakeholders
