About Us: Caregivers Alliance Limited (CAL) is a non-profit organisation in Singapore dedicated to meeting the needs of caregivers of persons with mental health issues through education, support networks, crisis support, tailored services and self-care enablement. While there are other organisations providing support to the community affected by mental health issues, only CAL focuses exclusively on supporting caregivers. We are looking for a motivated and independent HR & Admin Executive to join our team and help us foster a positive and effective work environment.
Job Summary: The HR & Admin Executive will play a key role in managing the HR functions of CAL. This role requires a high degree of independence, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. The HR & Admin Executive will be responsible for the operational success of the HR functions and provide day-to-day administrative support to ensure smooth office operations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Preferably possesses a degree in Human Resources or related field with at least 3 - 5 years of HR experience in a non-profit organisation.
- Well versed in MOM employment regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Strong relationship management and relationship building skills to engage effectively with colleagues.
- Proactively prepared to take a hands-on approach to your work and contribute effectively.
- Disciplined, organized and responsible in record keeping and collations of reports for accountability & reporting purposes.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, resume screening and recommendation, interview scheduling and preparation of letter of appointment to successful candidates.
- Be responsible for the onboarding process of new hires in welcoming them, providing relevant resources and information, and ensuring the proper briefings by supervisors and other relevant colleagues.
- Manage the employee offboarding process for resignations
- Ensure compliance with labour legislations and proper implementation of HR policies and procedures by employees.
- Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives and events to foster a positive workplace culture.
- Identify and address training and development needs to support employee growth and organizational effectiveness.
- Manage employee benefits programmes, including health insurance.
- Provide support to employees regarding benefit inquiries and issues.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance and support on HR-related matters.
- Facilitate conflict resolution and promote a positive work environment through effective communication and problem-solving.
- Implement and manage performance review processes, providing support to managers and employees.
- Ensure proper employee data management and provide regular HR-related reports to management.
- Procure office supplies, oversee the cleaning service vendor, and coordinate administrative support tasks for the maintenance of the office.
- Address general inquiries and attend to office security matters.
- Participate in cross-functional teams/projects and support other colleagues and teams to meet CAL’s strategic objectives and help build the desired organisation culture.
- Perform other related duties as required by the organisation.
