Description:
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for someone with a passion for HR, a willingness to embrace new challenges and the following experience:
- Previous experience of working in a fast-paced HR administrative position
- Experience of working in a confidential environment
- Knowledge of how basic employment legislation and organisational procedures and affect the employee lifecycle
- Experience of accurate data inputting and creating accurate documentation using templates
- Demonstrable experience of using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
A CIPD Level 3 qualification, experience of using iTrent or similar HR systems and experience in onboarding colleagues would be highly advantageous for this position however, these are not essential.
Responsibilities:
- Acting as the first point of contact for queries relating to onboarding, pre-employment checks, contract extensions, annual leave entitlement, internal appointments etc
- Building effective working relationships with LSTM colleagues and new starters
- Undertaking HR lifecycle administrative activities such as contract documentation, updating personal files, distributing and monitoring documentation etc
- Supporting senior HR management in the compilation and distribution of correspondence to support committee meetings
- Assisting the People Services Manager and wider HR team in the management of audits including coordinating arrangements and collation of required documentation
- Maintaining confidentiality in all aspects of work in accordance with HR requirements
