We are seeking to recruit an HR Administrator to join our HR Team on a one year fixed term contract basis.
The role can be based at any of our 5 manufacturing locations in the UK; Carrington, Crumlin, Gainsborough, Milton Keynes or Warrington.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Human Resource qualification or working towards, including membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) or
Strong relevant business administration experience which could transfer into an HR environment
Ideally previous HR experience within chemical, oil or gas industry
Previous experience of multi-site working for a multi-national company would be an advantage

SKILLS

  • A sound, up to date understanding of the principles of good HR practice
  • Knowledgeable and experienced in utilising computerised HR systems ( SAP, Success Factors)
  • Well organised with solid administrative experience of a diverse workload.
  • Strong IT skills, proficient in Microsoft office (Especially Microsoft Word & Excel)
  • Good verbal and numerical skills with attention to accuracy and detail
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with the ability to prioritise
  • Able to demonstrate initiative and manage own workload
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly
  • Ability to collate, record and translate data with a keen attention to detail
  • Exhibit role model behaviours commensurate with the values of the business

Languages:

  • Must be fluent in written and verbal English.

Responsibilities:

  • Scope of the role is UK wide
  • Co-ordinate full recruitment activity both internally and externally; ensure appropriate internal processes are complied with, arrange and manage advertising, candidate selection and interview scheduling and preparation, contract administration, pre-employment checks, HR and Payroll enrolment and induction process etc
  • Managing the onboarding administration for new employees, including obtaining references and carrying out screening.
  • Carry out HR administration processes, assisting the wider team, preparing letters and documents in line with legislation and company policies and procedures in relation to new starters, leavers, member communications, employee queries, disciplinary and grievance matters.
  • Preparing all letters or contracts for any changes to employee terms and conditions e.g. flexible working, end of probation period
  • First point of contact for the HR Inbox, triage enquiries and ensure responses are provided by subject owner in a timely manner.
  • HR administration for Absence Management including recording and , monitoring absences, identifying trigger points, and preparing formal correspondence.
  • Time and Attendance administration including holiday and overtime reporting into Protime, Tensor and SAP
  • Producing timely KPI reports for HRBPs
  • Responsible for co-ordination of all salary administration and system updates onto SuccessFactors including preparation of data for performance management, annual salary review, staff planning, promotions, adjustments, new joiner and leaver processes.
  • Keeping the electronic files/ HR system up to date and logically ‘tidy’ with employee information
  • Coordinate exit interviews for company leavers, collating and reporting on feedback
  • Ensure HR processes are complied with at all times and maintain functional credibility, best practice and service deliverables to all customers
  • Support the local roll-out and implementation of corporate policies and initiatives
  • Support UK HR Team in note taking at employee relations meetings (absence reviews, disciplinary, grievance, capability or appeal hearings)
  • Involvement in employee communications and engagement activities.
  • Other duties in line with skills and experience as required
