Description:
Are you an experienced HR professional looking for an exciting opportunity to support a dynamic HR department? Great Southern Killarney are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Administrator/HR Generalist to join our team on a maternity cover basis.
Day shift hours are Monday - Thursday 9am - 5:30pm and 9am – 4:30pm on Fridays.
ABOUT YOU:
We are looking for someone with the following:
· Experience in an HR Administrator, HR Generalist, or similar role.
· Knowledge of HR processes, employment law, and best practices.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
· Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
· Other ad-hoc duties as required as specified by Senior Management
Responsibilities:
- As part of our HR team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the department. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with day-to-day HR administrative tasks, including maintaining accurate employee records and managing HR databases.
- Supporting recruitment processes, from posting job adverts to coordinating interviews and onboarding new hires.
- Providing first-line HR support to employees and managers, responding to queries, and advising on policies and procedures.
- Coordinating training and development activities and maintaining training records.
- Assisting with payroll preparation, absence tracking, and reporting.
- Supporting employee relations initiatives as required.
- Ensuring compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
- Contributing to HR projects and process improvements.
- Assist with organising team events, celebrations
- Assist with organising training schedules
- Maintain a good working relationship with all departments and be a point of contact for general HR queries and provide information regarding HR policies, benefits etc.
