JOB DESCRIPTION
The Human Resources Administrator (Onboarding and Engagement Partner) provides local HR expertise to a District. This includes full cycle employee onboarding, retention and off-boarding. This individual also supports management with various HR functions as required.

What you’ll do:
- Process new hire paperwork including capturing results for criminal background checks and vulnerable sector results
- Coordinate and conduct general onboarding for new hires on their first day of employment
- Administer payroll and benefit paperwork for new and existing employees
- Abide by Human Resources policies according to union collective agreements, company policies and provincial and federal legislation including Employment Standards Act
- Serve as the initial point of contact for all employee related inquiries
- Research, identify and analyze specific employee relations concerns under direction of management
- Provide exit interviews and ensure employee is off-boarded
- Support management in the presentation of in-services and general training to client group about general and specific human resources issues, policies, procedures, and documentation
