THE OPPORTUNITY
Our People & Culture team is growing! We’re looking for a highly motivated, results focused Administrator to who is ready to roll up their sleeves and help us keep track of all things People & Culture.
Our People & Culture function is instrumental to StickerYou’s ongoing success and this new role on our small team will allow you to be an integral part of it. This is an opportunity to support our business growth by helping us create and maintain an empathetic and collaborative team culture employees can thrive in. There’s always a lot going on here and that means you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of People & Culture initiatives with a significant focus on the Recruitment/Talent Acquisition and onboarding process.
As our People & Culture / HR Administrator you will:
- Drive cultural initiatives: Help plan and host (virtual / in-person) events for the StickerYou Team. Ensure that things like birthdays and achievements are recognized and celebrated.
- Flex your administration skills: Take on a variety of meaningful projects assisting in administrative duties of our People & Culture efforts including: payroll, HR transactions, on/offboarding, drive StickerYou’s Health & Safety, training facilitation and ad-hoc administration in our ATS
- Support Talent Acquisition: Assist with drafting job descriptions, interview scorecards, short listing resumes and scheduling interviews. Build and strengthen the partnership between the talent team and hiring leads.
- Other tasks as required.
What we’re looking for?
- Education. Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Human Resources or a related field.
- Experience.
- Experience supporting an HR team or in a similar office admin/operations role
- Proficient in G Suite (Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Sheets and Google Meet) and Zoom.
- Exposure to any payroll or HRIS system is an asset.
- Communication skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Exceptional customer service skills and a desire to create a positive experience everywhere you go.
- Work ethic. Self-motivated, eager to learn and driven to exceed hiring goals. You are highly organized, resourceful and can manage your time effectively.
- Collaboration. You have a natural ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, employees, candidates and hiring partners. Ability to balance expertise with creativity and innovation when it comes to improving our process, practices and employer brand.
