StandardAero has an exciting opportunity for an HR Administrator to join one of the largest independent aviation service businesses in the world. StandardAero is a leading provider of maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services including engine repair and overhaul, component repair and overhaul, airframe repair, overhaul and paint, engine component repair and overhaul, avionics upgrades, engineering services and interior completions across the Commercial Airlines & Fleets, Business Aviation and Military & Energy sectors. The Company is a global organisation with ~7000 employees working out of facilities strategically located in 55 primary locations across 6 continents.
Reporting directly to the HR Director, the HR Administrator will provide an HR service in a timely manner that allows the business to continue to function efficiently, supporting the local HR team. This role is based within the HR team and will be expected to provide cover for planned absence within the team and provide support on existing and emerging project work.
Handling confidential information you will be highly organised, have exceptional attention to detail and will thrive in a full administrative and process centric role where the ability to prioritise is a must. The successful candidate will communicate with a diverse range of people, both written and verbally, so accuracy, strong customer service and interpersonal skills are essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for general administration/HR records administration of confidential and highly sensitive information. Support various meetings including organising, preparing and note taking.
  • Perform HR Information Systems activities ensuring data is accurate and be responsible for the maintenance of the electronic filing systems.
  • Ownership of the HR Desk Ticketing system, UK HR mail in box, respond/close out queries, reassign tickets to the relevant point of contact within the team.
  • Responsible for the absence tracking process, filing of relevant documentation and escalating cases that reach pre-determined trigger points. Producing statistics that will drive decision making. Under the guidance of the HR Business Partners co-ordinate the occupational health referrals.
  • Be a point of contact within HR to support internal and external customers HR queries, where possible providing guidance in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
  • Driving the onboarding process including supporting the candidate referencing process and working with the Training Manager to support successful inductions of employees into the business.
  • Track the probation process escalating non-compliance and other potential concerns to the HR Business Partners as appropriate.
  • Manage the admin process for employee terminations following all the steps from resignation acceptance or dismissal letter, scheduling interviews and to their last day routine. Provide employment reference requests as required.
  • Support note taking of employee matters across the business.
  • Assist with organising the annual performance review process, advising managers and employees, maintaining records and following up on return rates.
  • Support the HR Team on specific project work when required.
  • Review process flows top identify efficiencies and streamline.
