Description:
Turning Tides is a dynamic and impactful organisation on a mission to empower individuals experiencing homelessness or housing instability, and we are seeking a HR Administrator to join our busy HR team. This is a great opportunity to work within a small team and develop your knowledge of all elements of HR.
Responsibilities:
- Provide generalist HR guidance on recruitment, payroll and general administrative queries to staff and managers
- Support the candidate journey from application through to onboarding to include Occupational Health, DBS, References, Offers etc
- Support monthly payroll process by working closely with Finance Team and managers across the services
- Deliver on all administrative tasks by creating change of contracts, updating and maintaining the HR system
- Produce monthly reporting on recruitment activity in preparation for the relevant meetings
- Continually challenge process and improve the use of the HR systems to make processes easier for staff and managers
- Get involved in projects that make a difference
