Description:
As Virtuagym continues to grow, we’re looking for a passionate HR Administrator to enhance our People Team at our Medellín Team. As an HR Administrator you will play a pivotal role in supporting our team in Medellín and globally, helping us drive our mission of creating a healthier and happier world.
This is a full-time remote position based in Colombia, where you’ll collaborate with our global teams. Virtuagym is a remote-friendly company, giving you the flexibility to work from home as you wish or join us at our Medellin office. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to work from any location within the Americas for up to 4 weeks at a time, with a maximum of 12 weeks per year.

Responsibilities:
WHAT THIS ROLE LOOKS LIKE
As our HR Administrator, you will be a key partner to our Medellín, Colombia team. You’ll lead HR initiatives that foster a positive work environment, overseeing day-to-day HR operations and Office Management and ensuring alignment with our global people strategy.
You’ll oversee key HR functions for the Medellín office, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and team engagement. Additionally, you’ll collaborate with global leaders to align people practices, drive team engagement, and ensure compliance with local and international standards.
SOME OF YOUR KEY TASKS AS HR ADMINISTRATOR
- Oversee recruitment and onboarding for the Medellín team, including all the hiring cycles.
- Manage performance management processes and support learning & development initiatives to drive team growth.
- Handle People administration, including managing our HRIS (BambooHR), payroll, social security, and compliance with labor laws.
- Act as the primary HR contact for the Medellín office, fostering a positive work environment and supporting employee relations.
- Support and collaborate on HR initiatives that impact global teams, aligning with company culture and goals.
- Manage office operations, ensuring a welcoming environment and organizing events to strengthen team connections.
