RECRUITMENT & SELECTION:

  • Lead the end-to-end recruitment process, including drafting job descriptions, advertising vacancies, screening applications, conducting interviews, and managing the selection process
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates, utilising various sourcing channels such as job boards, social media
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and ensure a smooth and efficient hiring process
  • Conduct reference checks and background verification for potential hires
  • Assist on the preparation and extension of job offers, negotiate terms, and facilitate the onboarding process for new employees
  • Maintain a talent pipeline and database for future hiring needs

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Proven experience in HR administration and recruitment
  • In-depth knowledge of South African labour laws and regulations, particularly relating to recruitment and employment practices
  • Experience using HR Information Systems (HRIS) and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
