RECRUITMENT & SELECTION:
- Lead the end-to-end recruitment process, including drafting job descriptions, advertising vacancies, screening applications, conducting interviews, and managing the selection process
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates, utilising various sourcing channels such as job boards, social media
- Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and ensure a smooth and efficient hiring process
- Conduct reference checks and background verification for potential hires
- Assist on the preparation and extension of job offers, negotiate terms, and facilitate the onboarding process for new employees
- Maintain a talent pipeline and database for future hiring needs
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven experience in HR administration and recruitment
- In-depth knowledge of South African labour laws and regulations, particularly relating to recruitment and employment practices
- Experience using HR Information Systems (HRIS) and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
