Description:

As a HR Administrator at Wood Care Group, you will work at our Head Office site, supporting the HR Manager and recruitment team ensuring that systems are kept up-to date. Using our HR platform, you will ensure that new starters are added to the system, uploading onboarding documents and completing check in calls with our new starters. This will build the relationships across our 500 staff and 8 homes with the HR Team.
We are a part of family run business part of the Wood Care Group and our Employee’s are important to us.
This position is working Monday - Friday (25 hours per week, 5 hours per day). This can be worked during Head Office opening hours which are 8-4 but a set shift pattern must be chosen. There is no option to work from home but any questions please reach out.

  • Previous experience working in an administration background.
  • Experience with HR tasks or recruitment are desirable but not essential.
  • Confident communicator, both verbal and written.
  • Knowledge of right to work checks & compliance.
  • Level 3 CIPD desirable.
  • A committed and organised approach, to ensure that tasks and completed and the Manager can keep track of work completed/to do.

Responsibilities:

  • Other reasonable HR and recruitment tasks.
  • Support the head office team with tasks such as scanning or other support.
  • Answering the phones and taking messages.
  • Responding to emails.
  • All employee’s need to ensure they fully understand their safeguarding responsibility, develop their understand and skills to reduce the risk of abuse or neglect to adults who need care and support. Employee’s need to ensure that adults are safeguarded in a way that recognises their choice and control. Ensure that the safeguarding and whistle blowing policies are adhered too at all time.
  • Provide evidence of any untaken training.
  • Comply with fire procedures and health and safety legislation and work in a safe environment.
  • Complete all training as determined by Head Office.
