Description:

  • A degree in HR or Business, or any third-level degree with an additional HR qualification (e.g., CIPD certificate/diploma).
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in an HR administration role, ideally within a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Excellent communication skills for dealing with sensitive issues effectively.
  • Experience in payroll would be an advantage

Responsibilities:

HR Administration:

  • Update and maintain employee personnel records and systems to support growth.
  • Assist HR Manager with updating policies in line with legislative changes.
  • Manage contract renewals, probation review deadlines, training completions, and required licenses/visas.

Recruitment:

  • Manage all stages of the recruitment process: advertisement, screening, interviews, offer letters, contracts, and induction.

Communication:

  • Act as the first point of contact for stores and Head Office, addressing concerns and administering policies via e-mail and phone.

Data Management:

  • Complete analysis and reporting of HR data, maintaining data integrity.

General Administration:

  • Handle filing, drafting letters, updating spreadsheets and staff files, and chasing down paperwork.

Process Improvement:

  • Focus on continuous process improvement to drive efficiency and team performance.
  • Define best practices, share knowledge actively, and champion HR projects.

Team Collaboration:

  • Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.
  • Assist in training new HR team members.
  • Manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously with varying degrees of difficulty and priority.
