Description:
Are you passionate about HR and employee relations? Do you thrive on helping teams grow and excel? At Comex 2000, we’re looking for a dynamic and proactive HR Advisor to join our team in Enfield. You’ll be the go-to person for all HR queries, providing support across multiple sites in and around Enfield. Your experience in employee relations (ER) will be essential as you work closely with managers to handle complex cases and ensure best practices are followed.
REQUIREMENTS
- CIPD Level 5 or equivalent qualification is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in Employee Relations (ER), with a track record of handling complex cases from start to finish.
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills—you’re a good listener and clear communicator who can build relationships at all levels.
- Attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
- Time management and organisational skills—you can juggle multiple priorities and deliver on deadlines.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the business.
- Ability to work independently while also being a team player.
- Strong IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HR systems.
Responsibilities:
HR Support Across Sites: Be the first point of contact for HR matters, supporting employees and managers across various locations.
Employee Relations Expert: Manage and resolve a variety of ER cases, including disciplinaries, grievances, performance issues, and employment tribunals with confidence.
- Guide the Employee Life Cycle: Support managers through the entire employee life cycle—recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and exit processes.
- Train & Empower Managers: Coach and guide managers on people management practices, ensuring they’re well-versed in HR policies and best practices.
- Compliance & Policy Updates: Keep up-to-date with changes in employment law and ensure that our HR policies are compliant and reflective of current legislation.
- Project Support: Collaborate on HR projects, manage timelines, and ensure the delivery of high-quality results.
- Build Relationships: Lead regular meetings with department managers, ensuring HR initiatives are communicated effectively and consistent practices are followed.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other teams, including wellbeing, safety, and post-incident management, ensuring alignment and support.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for HR system improvements and make recommendations for streamlining processes.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Generate HR data reports and insights to support decision-making within the leadership team.
