You’ll bring:

  • A strong understanding of HR processes and current employment legislation, including contracts, compliance, and employee rights.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities with an organised approach and meet deadlines.
  • A considered, helpful, open, and clear communication style
  • A proactive and detail-oriented approach ensuring accuracy in all aspects of this role
  • Confidence to provide first-level advice to managers and employees, escalating complex issues appropriately, and the ability to challenge where necessary
  • Experience in supporting employee relations processes, including taking notes in formal meetings and providing guidance on best practice
  • A commitment to confidentiality and integrity when managing sensitive employee information.
  • A curiosity to learn and stay up to date and the ability to think out of the box.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

Are you passionate about supporting people?
As a People Services Advisor at Dawsongroup, you’ll be a key member of our People team. Your role will involve managing day-to-day HR policies and administration, and you will be a point of contact for middle management across the Group of varying capabilities and be able to offer sound counsel and advice. You’ll also play a part in evolving project work, supporting key initiatives across the Group.
From maintaining accurate records to supporting mangers through employee relations cases, this role offers variety and the opportunity to make a real impact in a collaborative environment.
Strong stakeholder management and confidence is key.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain and update HR systems and employee records with complete accuracy
  • Provide administrative to the full employee HR lifecycle
  • Act as the point of contact for HR queries, delivering consistent and expert advice.
  • Support managers with employee relations concerns, including conduct, performance, and grievance processes.
  • Ensure compliance with legislative and internal policies
  • Collaborate on projects to improve HR processes and provide an efficient and effective service
  • Work closely and collaboratively with the Group’s shared services teams and internal departments
