Description:
As an HR Advisor, Employee & Labor Relations at Rosebel Gold Mines N.V., you will play a crucial role in fostering positive relationships between the company and its employees. Your primary responsibilities will include handling employee grievances, conducting investigations, and providing guidance on labor laws, resolving workplace conflicts, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:
Promote sound labor relations with the union representing the Rosebel employees and advise on corrective and preventive action.
- Investigate and evaluate union/employee complaints or arguments to determine viability.
- Investigate disciplinary matters and provide proper advice in line with the Collective Labor Agreement (CLA) and local legislation.
- Assist with negotiating collective bargaining agreements.
Attendance and voluntary/involuntary termination cases:
- Investigate and analyze causes for employees’ staff absences.
- Provide advice and recommendations on related disciplinary actions for offenders.
- Represent RGM at Dismissal Board hearings, and meetings with the Ministry of Labor and external governing agencies.
Employees Relations and Communications:
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to the day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with the legal department as needed/required.
- Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation in line with the Code of Conduct (COC) and CLA.
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations as per COC and CLA during the management of grievances.
